1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. Your notice must include:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL or other specific location on the platform.
  • Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner.

2. Content Removal & Review

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, VeyaTalk will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content, typically within 24 hours. The affected user will be notified that the content has been removed.

3. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe your content was removed in error or is not infringing, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, VeyaTalk will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, the content may be restored.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

VeyaTalk maintains a strict repeat infringer policy. Users who receive three (3) or more valid DMCA takedown notices will have their account permanently terminated.

Strikes are tracked per user account. Users will be notified each time a strike is issued against their account.
